| This is just about everything I've written since my first year of college. I've left out most of my high school work because firstly it's not terribly good, secondly it's almost all written in AppleWorks v4... which I don't have anymore. Technically I guess I could go install the program off of some old discs but... whatever.
If you found your way here you probably came from my Blog otherwise, if you're interested in finding out more about me you can go there. You'll notice there are a few icons beside the poems, they have to do with the sorts of topics moods, that sort of thing in the poems. There's one with a Cross on it which suggests the poem has something to do with my own personal faith (though that tends to tie in all over the place) then there's the heart icon which suggests a romantic poem, the broken heart one for poems about, well you can guess. There's a couple Church icons, there's a brownish one that suggests it's just about the Church in general, if the icon has a blue hue to it that's the "sad Church" icon, and then of course you'll notice lots of the icons have rainbows in them, those mean that the poem has something to do with the intersection of what it's meant for me to be gay with that. So for example the rainbow + Church icon is about the Church's treatment of gays... which typically I'm complaining about.
You'll also notice many of the poems have stars beside them. Given that this archive has nearly 400 poems in it I wanted to provide a way to highlight the poems I like more. Of course that doesn't mean that you shouldn't bother with the ones that aren't highly rated, I've had a few people say they loved some of those. But in general I highlighted the ones that mean the most to me or I think I did a good job on.
